The only hotel in Andalsnes!
The location and wonderful historical photos of the hotel and the area through the years. The restaurant is luxuriously decorated and has low noise levels. There are 2 comfortable lounges. Some of the rooms have great views of the fjord.
The rooms are a little small with minimal storage for anything . The bathroom sink is inadequately sized.

Very nice lobby lounge. Very pleasant reception. Reasonably priced (for Norway) restaurant meals and drinks. Dinner was delicious. Very good breakfast.

Comfortable and Convenient
The breakfast was very good, and so was the dinner that we ate in the hotel restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking is free if there is enough room in the two small lots in front of the hotel; paid parking is in the rear of the hotel. You can walk to the gondola and waterfront from the hotel. The room was on the small side, but clean and modern. We enjoyed playing cards with our friends in the comfortable lounge area.

Great hotel!
The grand hotel felt luxurious. Staff was exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was quite good, especially the coffee drink selection (mocha, latte, americano, etc).
The location up the hill was a bit of a struggle for my mother with her suitcase but it’s a short walk from the train station and we managed it.
