The only hotel in Andalsnes!
The location and wonderful historical photos of the hotel and the area through the years. The restaurant is luxuriously decorated and has low noise levels. There are 2 comfortable lounges. Some of the rooms have great views of the fjord.
The rooms are a little small with minimal storage for anything . The bathroom sink is inadequately sized.

A grand old lady of a hotel, still comfortable
Superb fjord view from bedroom. Elegant dining room. Close enough to railway station.
Price was highest paid all holiday but there is a lack of hotels in Andalsnes and it was early July.

Wonderful
The location was excellent - you could walk to the gondola or to the trailhead to walk up the mountain.
The rooms were really small for the price, and the breakfast was average.
